adidas NMD x ASOS

After dominating SS16 with NMD, adidas made more waves in FW16 by making their future classic sneaker range available at ASOS for the very first time. Using the sights and sounds of the future, we celebrated the partnership with an immersive launch event.

Staff and sneakerheads lined Village Underground for an exclusive preview of the XR1, the newest addition to the NMD family – which helped inspire the futuristic, fluorescent displays throughout the space.

A super-sized gif booth and a series of spatially reactive instruments called The Cave of Sounds offered a taste of the future, while DJs Lily Mercer and Benji B capped off the night. If we could throw a party in the future, we think it would look a bit like this.
